How to Play Craps
Playing craps can be one of the most exhilarating casino experiences there is but learning the game is also difficult due to the variety of different types of craps bets available. Some of these bets can take several rolls of the dice to settle but other betting can take place between each roll of the dice, either on the outcome of the next roll of the dice or also on whether or not the initial bets that were placed are successful or not.
The first part of craps is choosing the Types of Craps Bets. Once all of the bets have been placed a shooter is decided upon and the shooter rolls the dice. The roll of the dice will settle some bets, but not others. The number that is rolled becomes the point and much of the betting will revolve around what gets rolled first, the point or a 7. Side betting will take place after each roll of the dice until either the point or a 7 is rolled, at which point all the outstanding bets are settled and a new round of betting takes place before another roll of the dice and another point is determined.

It is not only the resulting sum of the numbers that are rolled that players are betting on, but also the combinations of numbers that are rolled. The different probabilities of results are reflected in the odds offered on those outcomes, and it should be remembered that different bets have different house edges. |
