Pachinko
Pachinko is a Japanese game that rewards successful play with prizes and is often compared to pinball. It was originally very popular in Pachinko Parlours which are very similar to amusement arcades and casinos but has since become popular in its own right amongst online players.
The game works with metal balls being purchased and fired into the field of play where it will either fall to the bottom or fall into one of the slots on the Pachinko field which will yield prizes (or cash online) or more balls. The modern versions of Pachinko have incorporated slot machine reels into the game. The payouts on the slot machine are often unrelated to the balls and are strictly based on random number generators.
The popularity of Pachinko is mostly down to the fact it pretty much legalised gambling in areas where gambling is illegal. The fact that they now incorporate features such a slot machines just goes to show how much they are a way around the gambling laws where it is played.
Pachinko is considered more of a fun game rather than a serious game at which a casino player can develop his skills or spend a long time playing the game. As most of the prizes are more balls it is often the best strategy to keep on feeding the balls back into the machine until you either run out of balls or gain a major prize worth withdrawing. |
