VIP Program
VIP Programs are often run as an alternative to loyalty points although some casinos will actually run both promotions for its existing players. The reason that some casinos see the bonuses as mutually exclusive is because they don't particularly want to reward players twice for doing the same thing.
Through VIP Programs players are basically assigned points for everything positive they do (through the eyes of the casino). The things casinos see as positives include making larger deposits, spending a long time playing, betting more, trying more games and playing certain games (often ones with large house edges). A good mixture of these and the player is going to find he or she is elevated through the VIP levels fairly quickly. Some casinos use automatically assigned points whereas smaller casinos will be able to review accounts individually and make assessments about which VIP level is appropriate based on those assessments.
The number of VIP levels offered by the casino varies between them, three VIP levels is most common but some casinos will offer as many as five VIP levels. The difficulty to progress between levels will also vary between the casinos.
The benefits of moving up VIP levels also varies between casinos but it is usually a combination of more games available (often with lower house edges), bigger bonuses and a reduction in wagering requirements. |
